Video I/O Overview

Video I/O handles the core video conversion functionality of AXIS. You can configure Video Encoding (SDI → NDI®) and Video Decoding (NDI® → SDI) from the Home Icon:Inline Home page or via Settings Icon:Inline Settings.

Key video processing features:

  • SDI Input → NDI®: Convert SDI sources to NDI® streams for network distribution
  • NDI® → SDI Output: Receive NDI® streams and output to SDI devices
  • Multiple formats: Support for HD and 4K resolutions
  • Low latency: Optimized for real-time video production workflows

The video encoder and decoder can be controlled independently, allowing flexible input/output configurations based on your production needs.
